Le Capitaine Restaurant Grand Baie

This is a very good French restaurant in the Great Bay Scenic Area of Mauritius. The environment of the entire restaurant is very elegant, with a romantic atmosphere of a tropical beach. Every dish here is very exquisite, although the amount is not large, but every dish is like a work of art, the taste is really quite good, it is worth everyone to taste.

The Captain is a MUST!! For me, one of the best tables of the island. The room is superb, the decor is charming, the service is worthy of the elegant restaurants (with gloves, please), the presentation of the dishes is elegant and refined and the food is of a amazing freshness!! The raw material (fish and marine fruit) is sublime with brio, bravo to the Chefs! The hotel is a very friendly and very arrangent service (d'accord d'adapter des plats d'adultes pour nos filles de 7 et 5 ans - il y avait cependant des plats prévus pour leur âge). The open wine was very good and the desserts are so good that you eat them even if you're not hungry. The toilets are clean and easy to access. I strongly recommend this address to anyone visiting Mauritius! We were already here 9 years ago and quality has only increased. We will return there without any inconvenience a second time before our return to Europe 😊
